Rejuvenate – Ten Ways To

Whether you are in business or not, life is pretty full on for most of us. To better able us to be more effective and efficient it is so essential we spend time rejuvenating ourselves.

An online dictionary I use and find very useful,  https://www.dictionary.com has a few definitions for the word, REJUVENATION,  but the one I most like is “to give new life or energy”.

That is exactly what we want to do, manage our energy so that we are able to replenish it. I find the best way to do this, is do something completely different from I am currently doing. This allows me to disconnect from what I have been preoccupied with and  “just let go” . It can be something that takes as little as a few minutes or much much longer.

Sundays are principally my days to rejuvenate myself although I also make sure I do so on all other days of the week.

Today being a Sunday, was such a day. One of my favourite  activities is to walk from Clovelly Beach to Bondi Beach on the east coast of Sydney. It takes about an hour. What I most love is to feel the sun on my face, smell the sea salt in the air, hear the crashing of the waves and just observe so many people having fun.  Today I did this walk with friends. We enjoyed a great lunch at Bondi Beach and then walked back again.

As I was walking I noticed a whole lot of different ways in which people were rejuvenating themselves. It made me also feel grateful for living where I do.  So here is what I saw plus a few other ways you can rejuvenate yourself too:

1. Take a long walk.

2. Play a game. It could even be a game of cards!

6. Have a good laugh!

7. Meditate or daydream.

8. B R E A T H E  in and out deeply ten times.

9. Get a good night’s sleep.

10. Take a holiday.

You are the only one who can rejuvenate yourself so stop whatever you are doing and take a break!

Free tool helps you achieve your goals

Marcus A. BakerToday was a fantastic fair weather day in NSW so a mate and I decided to go for ride on his motorbike and enjoy the sun. We  went all over the place. What a blast!

Later he commented on being disappointed that we never got to the Blue Mountains. I was somewhat dumbfounded.  We were never even in the vicinity!

This incident illustrated so clearly that if we don’t decide where we want to ‘get to’ beforehand, there is no way we will ever get there.  And even if we do know where we want to be, if we don’t tell someone else, how can we expect them to help us?

More pertinently, people do this all the time in life and especially in business. They either set no goals so consequently have no idea where they are going. Bizarrely, they still wonder why they haven’t got to some undefined place. Or more insidious, they DO decide but they don’t tell anybody else. You see if we don’t tell anybody and we don’t ‘make it’, then nobody knows except for us and so we save ourselves from feeling “bad” in front of others. The problem is once we choose to make this behaviour a habit we entrench ongoing failure. This is how we end up having the same unachieved goals year in and year out.

It’s at this point that we need help! Step up www.stickk.com !

stickkimage Free tool helps you achieve your goals

Basically the site is built around the suggestion that the two most important keys to achieving a goal are to create incentives and assign accountability.

This they facilitate by way of a Commitment Contract which obliges one to achieve a goal within a particular time-frame. By doing so you challenge yourself  by saying “Hey, I can do this,” but more importantly you’re also putting your reputation at stake.

If you are unsuccessful, the site lets your friends or whoever you have agreed to be accountable to, know. As if losing face with your friends is not bad enough, what is the one thing no one can stand to part with? You guessed it! Your cash!

Straight from the horse’s mouth: “As a true test of your commitment, stickK will let you put your money on the line for any Commitment Contract. Achieve your goal and you don’t pay a thing (and you’re much happier than before, aren’t you?).

But if you aren’t successful, you forfeit your money to a charity, an anti-charity or even that neighbor who keeps stealing your newspaper.”

Of course you don’t have to enter into the money agreement side of things. It’s all up to you, much the same as whether you will achieve that goal or not.

The best part of all is that StickK is absolutely FREE!

Having your friends laugh as your money disappears isn’t the only way a Commitment Contract can help you achieve your goal though. The site provides you with email reminders, a commitment journal to track your progress and a community of support to help you achieve your goal. Procrastinators beware though; the Commitment Contract has an end date.

So if you have a goal that has been hanging around for a while and you are SERIOUS about achieving it, head over to www.stickk.com Brilliant!

BE BRILLIANT – because YOU ARE!

Netfast Start

I just wanted to tell you about a great workshop I attended in  Sydney on Tuesday called Netfast Start. As usual it was presented by Kat Hudson and Jodie Thompson . Let it be said right at the start that Marcus Baker is proud to have these two in his “trusted  experts network”!

What is it that drives Kat and Jodie to share their valuable expertise for not very much monetary reward compared with what other similar type workshops are asking participants to pay?  It’s the satisfaction of empowering seekers like you and I not to be at the mercy of  others when there is no need! They have travelled the long and often frustrating road themselves to technological enlightenment and if they can shorten that road for others then that is enough of a reward.

“Becoming a leader means learning how to do whatever it takes to be successful yourself.” – Marcus Baker. This includes technology. So many network marketers believe they have an on line business when in fact they have barely experienced the wrapping!

What would it be worth to you to know how easy it is to build a fresh, effective, money generating website specifically for your needs; without having to pay expensive web designers to do it? And no I am not talking about a website in a box where one is limited to yesterday’s designs either. And how would you like to know how to generate endless leads to your site without spending big on advertising? These are the meaty subjects covered in these workshops.

“If you’re not maximising technology in your business, you are carrying buckets when you could be using a pipeline.” – Marcus Baker. I have said this many times over. Technology is not something to be afraid of. Make it your friend. Netfast Start helps one do just that.

Live the life you love and love the life you live!
