Attracting others is a process but this is only the beginning. Knowing how to interact with them once they are attracted to you is imperative otherwise you will lose them just as fast as you attracted them.

Part of this has to do with providing ongoing value, but don’t whatever you do underestimate the the importance of knowing how to relate to people too.

It’s not that difficult unless we make it so. Watch my video for a simple way you can use to help you establish and grow meaningful relationships with everybody you meet.

I’d love to hear what you think about this business personal development topic so please leave me a comment. I would also value it if you could bookmark and share this post with your social networks.Be assured that I will do the same for you. This is an industry where those who help each other benefit the most.

    Hey Ryan,

You are awesome for the great comment man. I try to keep these videos short because I know how short everybody’s concentration span is these days! :)

  4. Hi Marcus,

That is very true. Just be yourself in any situation and treat people like you want to be treated.

I think of you all as my online family, so therefore, I think of my customers as close friends and treat them the same.

    Have a great day!

  7. Hey Marcus,

Nice Video and information. It is important to treat people like family. I’ve developed some of the relationships of like minded individuals just by visiting their blogs and commenting. I’m even doing JV’s with some. So my friend, you are part of my family. :)

    Have a great weekend…

You made me feel part of your family long before you stated it my friend and therein lies ‘the secret’. I am not in the least bit surprised that you are powering ahead as you are since YOU DO know how to treat people properly. Thanks for stopping by. It would not be the same without your comment. :)

  8. What a wonderful video Marcus.

Treating everyone like they are family is something everyone should be doing. I’ve heard this so many times and I live by this, “Treat others the way you would like to be treated.”

When you do this, it makes you and them feel good. That’s is powerful.

Have a super weekend my friend.

It is all about feeling good all round and I will say that having you visit and comment as you do always makes me feel great so thank you for doing that. Have a great weekend too Jerome.

  9. Hi Marcus,

I completely agree with this. It makes a huge difference how someone feels, depending if they feel welcome and valued.

This is probably why the blogs that do the best, are generally the ones where the blog owner replies to comments left. It’s much more friendly and warm that way… like this one. ;)

Love the video today! Made me a little homesick though, thinking of being at MY sisters house.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  16. A common trait among the professional marketers in this space seems to be that we should always provide far more value than we ever expect to receive in return. I know Randy Gage is a big proponent of this concept.

I think that works into this quite well in that you should build a personal relationship at some level with everyone you meet. Naturally this will build your professional network as well as your personal network.

    Great vid post.

    Hi Seth,

    Welcome :)

It’s just a lot easier when we just relate to everybody as fellow human beings. We are all far more similar than dissimilar and when we relate on this level then the rest just happens effortlessly.
