It sounds like a contradiction but in this business personal development post I want to share with you exactly how you can get more done when you decide to do less.
Do you ever feel frustrated about not getting more done some days? Maybe every day?
What if I was tell you that it’s possible you might only need to make a small adjustment to the the way you do things to get rid of this problem?
Imagine getting to the end of every day and instead of feeling anxious or guilty about not having done enough, instead you’d feel totally satisfied with what you have achieved.
And no my solution has nothing at all to do with outsourcing, lists or schedules. Would knowing how to to do this be of interest to you? Click on the video below to find out more.
>>>> Is this something you could use? I’d love to hear what you have to say on this topic so please leave me a comment.
I’d really appreciate it if you would use the “Bookmark & Share” or any of the other buttons available to share this post. Be assured that I will do the same for you. This is an industry where those who help each other benefit the most.
My goal? Helping you achieve yours.

Hey Marcus,
I sometimes lose focus and end up all
over the place. In the end, I did not complete
the task at hand.
I try to focus on a list that I either write out
or have in my Blackberry. This helps me focus
and get more done.
Enjoyed the video!

Yes having a list is important and I do that too but what is more important Tommy is ONLY doing one thing on that list at a time, that’s when you start to make progress with focus.
Cheers

Turn Off your DistractBerry
Turn Off Your IntruptMobile

Absolutely Dwayne. We all know what our particular sources of distraction are so it is up to each one of us to manage those.

Hey there Marcus,
I can relate to this one big time. FOCUS and LESS is key.
When you integrate too much, it creates confusion and at the same time, our performance gets impacted.
I enjoyed the video…

Thanks Jerome. It is very tempting to do more than one thing at a time but it seriously impacts our effectiveness.

Hi Marcus,
I completely agree with this. I found so much freedom when I dropped a couple things I wasn’t enjoying or good at, and put that time and focus into the things I did enjoy and was good at. Whew!
Don’t try to be everything and everywhere all at once. It takes time and is a lot more effective when you take on one at a time.
Great stuff! Cheers!

We all pile too much on when we start. I think we are afraid we might out on something which we do, doing anything properly! Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Marcus,
Great message!
I find it hard to focus on so many projects. When this happens I end up doing nothing.
Have a great weekend…

So So True Marcus,
I find setting a time to complete each task helpful as well. We can get so consumed with one task that you look up and you’ve been on that same task for 4 hours. Thanks for that nugget!! Hope your weekend is going well.

That’s it Maria! I actually often use the building a wall one brick at a time analogy because it is so true. Imagine trying to build a wall doing so with more than one brick at a time, it would be chaos! Well definitely in my world anyway because my brick laying skills are not that hot!! LOL
