In this Business Personal Development post I want to remind you take time out of your busy day to connect with the simple things around you.

It’s easy to become too busy when you have a business. The problem is the moment you stop noticing the simple things around you, this leads to you taking more and  more for granted in your life without you even knowing.

If you make a habit of noticing  the simple things around you, you will  notice and be grateful for the bigger things too.

Watch my short video and I’ll show you exactly what I mean.

>>>> Do you take time every day to connect with the simple things around you? How do you ensure that you do this when you are very busy? I’d love to hear your thoughts so please leave me a comment.

It would be awesome if you could “Bookmark & Share” share this post. for me. Be assured that I will do the same for you. This is an industry where those who help each other benefit the most. Thank you.

My goal? Helping you achieve yours.

    Hi Hector,

It’s funny how easily we just tune out to our surroundings but the problem is if we allow that to dominate it leads to further disconnection for us hence it being a good idea to be reminded to notice the simple things and we all need reminding.

  5. If you want to live a happy life there’s no better advice you can offer someone Marcus. Well stated.

I do notice the small things. The cool thing is that noticing the small things brings bigger and bigger things. When grateful for anything the amount of good things grows in my life. That’s why taking the time every hour to get up from my laptop and note what’s going on has coincided with me becoming happier, more adjusted, and more successful. It dissolves any attachment I might have to the “important things” of life and allows me to be fully in the moment.

Ryan you have a good tip there. Get up every hour and focus on something else for just a few minutes, stretch and walk around get something to drink. Hit the reset button.

    Hi there Ryan,

You are spot on there. It’s when we notice what we do have that the law of attraction or call it what you will, brings us more and bigger and better. I also take time every hour to remind me to stop and just be in the moment by noticing something or someone away from my computer. It is amazing how doing something so small can impact on one’s happiness so massively like you say.

  6. Ahhhhhhh… One of my favorite themes… “enjoy the simple things.”

Yes, and I find that I have to continually remind myself to do just that: make it a focus to notice and appreciate those aspects of life that bring you joy, teach lessons, inspire you, etc.

    Nice video. Pleasant.

Thanks Marcus for reminding me to get up off my backside, leave the computer for a few minutes and take a walk around the block. Those few minutes really help.

    Hi Wayne,

Having lived in the UK myself you have some amazing parks and outdoor areas but I guess they are not always that accessible when you live in the thick of the city. I used to live in Kingston and so my favorite was to go to Richmond Park.

    Thanks for stopping by.
