There are a few different ways to attract traffic to your blog. One of these is to use Social Media like Facebook.
The approach is totally different to what is required for SEO for instance. In fact if you are only using Facebook as means to showcase a specific post then there really are no rules other than to attract as much attention to your post as possible. In this MLM Blogging Tips post I’m going to tell you exactly how you can do this.
Be a Leader
Social media platforms like Facebook are all about being sociable so make sure you are a friendly stand out leader and people will be hungry for all the content you release including your blog posts.
Write about something people want to know about
This really goes without saying . What do people who use Facebook in this niche want to know about? Once again by being sociable and interacting with users rather than just spamming them you will know what they want to know about because you will be talking to them.
Create a gripping title
Since you don’t have to worry about keywords you can come up with any title you like. Think about how certain types of newspapers and magazines attract readers. They use sensational headlines that drip with intrigue. Personally I suggest you still keep your titles on topic so that people get what your title promises. Be creative. Be bold and bring to them to your post.
Spread the good news
Nobody wants to know about any opportunity or about anything else you might be selling but if you have got some valuable free information that might help them, of course they will be interested. Write a message that poses a question many users might have and then suggest that you are providing the solution in your post.
Post to your profile if you don’t use networked blogs which does this automatically for you, then post to your group and to some of the groups of which you are a member. Get the word out there.
Target a group of your friends
Choose a group of your Facebook friends and tag them when you post about your latest blog post. When you write a status update and want to add a friend’s name to something you are posting, just include the “@” symbol beforehand. As you type the name of what you would like to reference, a drop-down menu will appear that allows you to choose from your list of friends. As long as you don’t abuse this feature, your friends will be appreciative that you have thought of them specifically and will usually support you by reading your post.
Join a tribe and get others to help share your post
There are a few free tribes on Facebook you can join where you can post your blog and have others read and share it for you. Check my tribe out for instance – the MLM Alphas Tribe
Do you have any further tips about how to use Facebook to attract readers to your blog? I’d love to hear about them so please leave me a comment. If you enjoyed this post I would be grateful if you could share it on your social networks too. Thank you.

I like these tips Marcus.
I put emphasis on being friendly and adding value-packed content. Like any social networking site be social, friendly and affable to build meaningful relationships.
I would add to be persistent with your postings. It took me a while to gain traction in the FB world but with time and effort I established a nice little network.

Hello Marcus! Thanks for the info. Once again you are right on! Especially for someone like me who is relatively new to blogging. Keep it simple really seems to be the rule with blogging and you point that out here. I know I can get bogged down pretty easy when I attempt to write a long winded blog. Seems much easier to follow your simple rules and let er rip!

Hey Marcus
Writing about something people are interested in is so important.
Take the internet marketing niche in Facebook for example. They want to know how to generate traffic using Facebook, so give it to them

Hi Ilka,
I tend not to tag too much as some people don’t like it but it is a good way of targeting certain people when it comes to posts.

Marcus,
I find that Facebook is an excellent platform to showcase your blog. My favorites is as you mentioned, in the tribes where you can share your content and others help you to syndicate it. It’s also great if you have your own Facebook group to share your blog posts there, further positioning yourself as an authority in your niche.
The key is to have a powerful and catchy headline so that your posts stand out from the crowd.

Hi Marcus,
Facebook is really a great tool to share our stuff and other people’s stuff. I would add a word of caution: As they don’t like repetition, I would be careful with sharing the very same link over and over again at short rate, especially without commenting other people’s FB posts and giving the one or the other “like”. Keep up your great work.
Take care
