Is Life path Unlimited a scam or for real? So who wants to know and why?
The word, “scam” seems to be synonymous with Internet searches for network marketing companies when people are doing their due diligence.
Some time ago when I was a Lifepath associate I wrote an article about whether the company was a scam or not. Recently for some reason I’ve had a number of people exploring this opportunity, ask me whether I still held the same positive views since I was no longer aligned with them. I thought it was time to re-visit the subject and tell you exactly why I left the company.
What is a scam?
I define a scam to be a dishonest scheme to make a quick profit. So more specifically the question is does Lifepath Unlimited present an elaborate front to the public to generate quick funds but with no delivery on promises?
To that I must answer with an unequivocal, NO, but of course I can only base this on my own experience.
Here’s some proof…
Scam operations often have no “About Us” or contactable information on their websites. If you go to this company’s website you will find an extensive section about the founders, the company vision and where they are located.
It is usually impossible to get hold of real people when calling companies that are not real. Whenever I called this company’s customer service department I was able to speak to a real person.
In addition I personally met the founders and senior management team at a business training event in Sydney which they facilitated at great cost because they saw that there was business potential in the region.
Fraudulent operations either don’t honor their product promises or they provide a very inferior product to that advertised. I experienced two Lifepath Unlimited products both of which exceeded my expectations. Of note is the fact that at that time they also published a clear refund policy on their website.
Scams frequently imply you can make a lot of money without much effort. This company made no promises about how much I could definitely earn. I was always told that any success would depend on whether I was able to establish and manage a business operation.
Lifepath Unlimited is a successful niche personal development company whose products are distributed via their network of independent business, many of whom are making a full time living by doing this.
I have heard some Lifepath Unlimited complaints about the price of their products being over inflated but how is that different to most other network marketing companies? It isn’t. When you sign up with a company it’s because you perceive you are getting value for the price whatever it is. If you don’t appreciate this value you won’t sign up but this has nothing to do with being a scam.
My recommendation…
What I will say is that this is a high ticket item company and unless you already know how to market or you have a lot of spare cash to spend on your business while you learn, think very carefully about your decision.
Personally I believe you are better off learning to market spending less money. When you have these skills then you can join any company and be successful.
In retrospect I understand that my time with Lifepath Unlimited had to do with the personal development they offered. Working on your mindset first is required to be successful at any business.
Learning how to market was something I did after leaving and which I did independently of any network marketing company. If you don’t yet know how to market or you are only just starting out then I suggest you learn via My Lead System Pro where you will get the education and tools required to market any company and products.
So what are you views on scams, marketing and my post? Leave me a comment and share this post using the social media buttons. Thank you.
My goal? Helping you achieve yours.

Thanks Twila. I see far to much pointing of fingers at companies and sponsors when just about every time the problem lies with us. I know this from my own experience.
I really just wanted to assure those considering Lifepath that I did not leave the company because they are a scam operation, far from it.

Marcus,
First I want to congratulate you for taking the time to write a blog in defense of a company your no longer affiliated with just because it’s the right thing to do. When I think all the people that talk about online scams I cant think about Mike Dillard someone who has spent more money online than most of us make and claims he has never been scammed makes you wonder.

Hi Steve,
I think it’s human nature for people to be suspicious especially when it comes to network marketing companies. To be honest if one just uses some common sense and does one’s homework as one should before taking any important decision then there’s no reason why anybody should be taken for a ride. I wrote this post purely to help others looking at this opportunity. They are an awesome company and if the fit is right and you to know how to market, success will happen naturally.

Hi Marcus,
Interesting post. I don’t have any experience with the company, but I do enjoy hearing about various ones.
I think it’s funny that some people think there are more scams than legitimate companies. I haven’t found this to be the case. But maybe I’ve just been fortunate.
Great job giving your feedback on this topic.
Make it a great day!

Hi Susanna,
Thanks Susanna. Hopefully we are moving away from the “scam mentality” when it comes to researching other companies. It sets a very negative vibration in motion.

Dead on the head Mark, I have never personally been scammed but I have been close to getting it. The Nigerians are killing it right now, they use social media to set up fake profiles and try to lead unsuspecting males into their scams.
You can pick them out easy cause they use yahoo and the profile is always a few days old, they always speak about a relationship with you.
Be on the look out,
Thanks Mark.

Thanks for the warning my friend. I am pretty much scam-proof I think because my intuition is always spot one with that kind of thing. However one must always be vigilant.

Nice work Marcus…I am so tired of the blame and negativity out there about MLM companies when if the truth were told, in many cases, disatisfaction comes when people have failed to achieve their desired results, leave the respective company and then feel a need to publically blame. In most MLM companies you will find most people working hard, with realistic expectations and who are very happy with their progress. They are just no out there blowing the company trumpet because they are too busy making it work. Some people are just not suited to certain businesses as well and they may not realise this until they are in it. For purposes of transperency, I have been in LPU for almost 12 months now and am very happy with the business. It does provide a full time income for me. Thanks for you level headedness Marcus.

HI there Juli,
Really appreciate your comment. I couldn’t agree more. Most time the problem for not being successful lies with us not a company or sponsor. A good point about not all types of business suited to everyone too. Great to hear that you are with LPU and doing well. They are an awesome company. Thanks for the visit and wishing you continued success with Lifepath.

I think people set themselves up not to succeed a lot of the time. They tell themselves something is a scam so that they have a reason not to get involved and then take responsibility when things don’t work out.
Cheers

Hi Marcus,
Great review, it’s funny how for some reason it is just human nature for anyone to think that if it is too good to be true then it must be…
Who ever made that up needs a slap around the ear! Anything is possible and now more that ever thanks to all of these great network marketing companies anyone who is willing to apply themselves can create a successful business using these companies business models.
the only reason anyone should use the word scam in the same sentence as a network marketing company is to rank in the search engines to soak up the traffic and set the record straight.
I am interested in what level you invested in Lifepath Unlimited because I have recently invested to the Destiny level…
I have been with Lifepath Unimited for around the last 2 months, I made my first sale within my first 2 weeks which was a commission of $1000 and there and then quit my full time job and never looked back…
I am actually scheduled to ring a nice lady tomorrow who is ready to join LPU so that will be another $1000!
I joined LPU basically because I love personal development and the idea that their products can make a real difference in people’s life’s.
Too many people go through life without ever pushing their boundaries or even worse still not even knowing they are there!!!
I am proud to be apart of LPU….
Well anyway that my rant… haha
I wish you so much success in everything you do Marcus!!!
Thanks for the post!!!

Hi Billee,
Just been going through my unanswered comments and saw that yours was one of these. My apologies because it is an awesome comment, thank you.
I am delighted to read that you are with LPU and happy there. It is a great company and with an attitude like you have I am sure you will continue to enjoy much success.
I was invested at the Breakthrough level but I think you are wise to have done so at the Destiny level.
Thank you for your good wishes and may I wish you every success going forward too.
