8 Handy Post Ideas For Your Network Marketing Blog

  • Sharebar
  • class="st_sharethis" displayText="Share">

If you have your own network marketing blog then you’ll hopefully also know that it’s  very important to post regularly, every day if you can. But how easy is it to come up with quality, relevant content all the time?

Speaking from personal experience, the more you blog , the more you’ll start to see everything through a blogger’s eyes. Ideas are likely to come fast and furious at times so I recommend you always have a way of recording these since they also often come to mind when you least expect it.

However even those of us who have been doing this for a little while run into dry patches when there doesn’t seem to be anything to write about. This can be quite stressful especially when you know that your loyal followers are waiting for what you have to say next.

At times like this would it be useful to have some other ideas for posts? Maybe even have some pre-prepared  posts in the bottom draw you could take out and use?

One of the best mlm blogging tips I can pass on is that you should be prepared  for times like this.   Here are eight ideas for posts so you never have to run out of  material for your network marketing blog again:

#1: Create a list of “must-have” free resources for your readers.

#2: Ask a question of your followers using one of the many social media platforms and then blog about the best answers you get.

#3: Sign up for Google Alerts on topics related to network marketing and then blog about breaking news stories.

#4: Use a plugin to find out which of your blog posts is most popular, then blog about it.

#5: Get involved in a discussion on another blog or forum and then write up a summary about it on your own blog.

#6: Post monthly wrap-ups about what you have accomplished with your business.

#7: Present a case study of how someone has successfully used one of your mlm products or service to solve their problem.

#8: Run a poll on a controversial issue and then discuss the results.

What do YOU do when you run out of  ideas for posts? I’d love to hear about them or anything else you have to say on this topic so please leave me a comment.

If you’re a regular visitor to my blog and you comment and share my posts on your social networks using “Only Wire” or some of the other buttons available, thank you very much for doing so. You are awesome and I appreciate it immensely. Be assured that I am doing the same for you. This is an industry where those who help each other benefit the most.

My goal? Helping you achieve yours.

  1. Hi Marcus,

I hadn’t thought, or heard of, a couple of those ideas yet.

Before last week I only posted a couple times a week. Now that I’m posting more often I may have to resort back to your list here.

    Cheers!

  3. Hey Marcus,

These are some really good handy tips.

I like to try #8, putting together
a poll and discussing it would be really
interesting to get some of the thoughts
of the people who stop by my blog.

It may even attract comments from other
people that normally would not leave a
    comment.

    Thanks for the good tips

Using a poll is a great idea Tommy because it invites people to get involved and interact with you on your blog. I look forward to reading a post that tells us about a poll you have run soon. :)

  4. Hey Marcus,
I’ve been getting individuals asking me questions on a particular subject/areas that they are having challenges in. I like to use their questions and then create and article/blog post on the question and answer. You have some great suggestions though. I will definitely use a few.

    Hey Anthony,

Welcome! :) Yes I agree with you that questions are a great source for blog posts. You will notice a number of people use this to generate ideas. For those who are not yet talking to a lot of people , a good place to look for questions as is in forums.

  5. Hey Marcus

I get my ideas from being active in my business daily. Something always comes up that you can let your readers know about.

Reading other blogs with their comments also creates a lot ideas.

I believe the more you surround yourself with your blogging environment (in this case network marketing), the more vision you will have and the more ideas you will have.

Writing down ideas as you get them is priceless. I have a long list which I can fall back on in the ‘dry periods’

  8. Great tips Marcus. I also like to listen to webinars and write about them. There are 100′s of them in mlmpro recordings.
    Heres a question?

Use a plugin to find out which of your blog posts is most popular, then blog about it.

Whats the name of the plugin Marcus?
.-= Maria Eves´s last blog ..MLM Global Mindset Tribe- Welcome =-.

    Marcus Baker Reply:

Thanks Maria and well done on being the featured tribe member this week too. That’s a great tip you left about writing about webinars. You are right there are heaps of these one can use in My Lead System Pro. I don’t know how I would cope without this system.

As for the plugin Maria, it’s called Popularity Contest

This will enable ranking of your posts by popularity; using the behavior of your visitors to determine each post’s popularity. You set a value (or use the default value) for every post view, comment, etc. and the popularity of your posts is calculated based on those values. Once you have activated the plugin, you can configure the Popularity Values and View Reports. You can also use the included Widgets and Template Tags to display post popularity and lists of popular posts on your blog.

  11. Hey Marcus,

Maintaining a blog and putting out posts daily is important. There are times where it just doesn’t fit into the mix.

However, using these eight tips can really help someone ensure they get as close to this as possible. I use most of these, but I see a few I’d like to add.

    Thanks for that!
