There are thousands upon thousands of MLM products available and many which are truly awesome, however not all of these are capable of supporting you in your quest for financial and time freedom. I’m going to show you  how your company’s products can impact on your long term success and what the one essential criteria is that must be fulfilled by these products to ensure that your dreams come true.

I am assuming your dreams include being able to create residual income. By this I mean being able to sip on cocktails in Costa Rica or do whatever else it is you might choose, while your business funnels dollars into your bank account in your absence. If this isn’t one of your goals then you would truly be better off pursuing a commission based sales career elsewhere.

Residual income is created firstly if your company provides for this in their MLM compensation plan and if they don’t, what are you still doing there? The plan however only comes together if you can make it work. You do this by growing your organization to a required size and by having enough of that group continuing to be active business builders.

The truth of the matter is this is not that easy to achieve because the attrition rate in this industry is so high. You will be fortunate if 3% of your entire team is active and successful at any one time.

In this industry people usually give up very quickly for one or more of the following reasons: They don’t know how to generate leads, they run out of money, they have no effective system to use and no leadership to follow. All of these could be addressed if you were able keep people in your business long enough to teach them how but this does not usually happen.

They leave simply because they don’t perceive they are getting enough value from the company to warrant their staying till they are successful.   The one place where the value is first and mostly evaluated is in the MLM products.  Being unsuccessful and still having to purchase $200’s or more worth of network marketing products on auto ship every month without knowing whether the products are definitely adding any value to their lives is what will tip that decision. Most new business owners can’t really afford the products anyway. If they thought differently they would not cancel their auto ship the moment they decided to leave the business.

So the key to keeping more of your people so you can help them become successful in business is for them to know without a doubt that what they are getting offers more value than they could find elsewhere at that price. If they can buy a bottle of ABC juice for less elsewhere and are no more certain about it’s value then they will.

This means your MLM products must not only be totally unique, in demand and well priced but the perceived value of the products has to be far more than the asking price and better still if the value can be proved in some way. So by way of an extreme example if your juice sold for $20,  had a perceived value of $100 and the effects were able to be verified, you would be able to offer massive value with such a product.

So how do your company MLM products measure up on the value scale? The more value they offer the more likely you will be able to hang on to your distributors for longer.
