MLM Blogging Tips – Why & How To Use A Pop Up Form On Your Blog

  • class="st_sharethis" displayText="Share">

In doing a bit of research for this MLM Blogging Tips post I discovered that all the people I surveyed either love or hate pop up forms.

This reminded me of an ad I hear on the radio over here sometimes. It really irks me when I hear it  – loud, offensive and not very clever in my books. It’s just one of those obnoxiously annoying creations from start to finish. I’m sure you have a few of your own pet hate ads.

In  fact so annoying is the ad that an article was written about it recently and the funny thing is that although so many people dislike it,  the ad campaign is massively successful.

The point I want to make is that even though you may find something annoying, like a pop up form,

….. if it could help to bring you more leads would you put your prejudice aside?

Personally I am not attached either way to a pop up form.

I use one because it works!!

So have YOU ever considered using a pop up form on your blog? In this MLM Blogging Tips post I want to explain why I think it’s a good idea for you to give it a go and also give you two different ways to do so.

One of the most important activities to focus on  as a marketer is that of lead generation to build your own list. Using an auto responder account will help you to manage this part of your business simply and efficiently. As you saw in my video this tool will also give you access to forms which you will need to capture leads. The auto responder I use and can recommend above all others is Aweber. Various payment options are available. It will be money very well spent.

You can download the WP Super Pop up plug in for free by clicking on the name.

Thank you to my friend and fellow marketer Vitaliy Dubinin for telling me about this plug in. If you click on his name you will be taken to his site where if he is still using the plug in you will be able to see it in action plus which take advantage of all the excellent content on his site.

  1. Hey Marcus,

Thanks for putting this together! Just like you mentioned some folks get annoyed by them and others like them. But either way you increase your chance of capturing a lead.

  6. I personally use pop up forms as well Marcus and I think if you focus on providing value to your visitors than it’s doing them a favor rather than annoying them :)

  9. Marcus,

I’ve never been a fan of pop-ups myself, but after reading this article I think I’m going to give it a try.

I was always worried that I would annoy my visitors and they would leave my website.

I hope it does work though.

By the way, this was the first time I ever visited your blog.

    I really like it.

    Hi Charles,

Welcome and thanks for taking the time to leave me some feedback.

As you may have noticed I don’t have a pop up operating on my blog right now. I tend to use a pop up for a bit and then give it a break.

Also there are some pop ups that are more annoying than others. Try to think about what would annoy you when it comes to pop ups and then avoid doing the same. Keeping it subtle is what works best.

    Hi there,

I haver to say that I removed the popup from my blog mostly because I don’t like them myself but research shows that they are effective. I guess one just needs to find one that is less annoying.
