This is the last of three video posts about how you can manage your time effectively for business.
In this MLM Tips post I’ll be covering how to use the calendar function in Gmail as a an effective schedule.
If you apply what I teach you today as well as what I covered in the last two posts you will know whether you’re using your available time for business effectively or not. If you aren’t you’ll be be able to change this easily.
You’ll be in a much better position to be realistic about what you want to achieve on a daily basis. This will eliminate getting to the end of the day and feeling as if you have failed when you haven’t done all the things on your undefined list in your head.
You will know exactly what it is you set out to achieve every day and whether you do so or not. Not only will you know for certain whether you are spending enough time on your business but you will also know whether you are attending to the most important activities as a priority. When you are aware of a problem then you are half way to solving it!
I hope that this video and the two prior to it have been useful. I’d love to hear your feedback! Leave me a comment and do please spread the word by clicking the “Bookmark and Share” button below, or by sharing it on Facebook & re-tweeting it above.
My goal? Helping you achieve yours!
Marcus,
Again, I love the G-mail calendar and am going to be using it right away mate.

Marucs,
One question. What if you get into a longer conversation with a lead, or you have a couple closes that take longer than expected?
Doesn’t look like there’s enough time scheduled for the “income producing” activities.

Andrew,
A schedule has to be flexible and talking to leads takes priority over anything else so when this happens I adapt accordingly. Secondly my schedule changes all the time and it works for me. I suggest you make any schedule work for yourself. The objective of the post was to suggest a way for you to do that.

Hi MArcus,
Thanks for the article. I didn’t know I could use this tool in this way. By the way, one of the things I didn’t expect when getting into MLM was to have to learn so much technical stuff. Now I can not imagine doing my business without tools such as Webinars, etc.

Hi Tom,
Great to have you visit and leave a comment.
I guess with so much being Internet driven these days we have no choice but to have to be more tech savvy. It’s never ending too as there is always something new to learn.
One thing for sure like you say is that technology sure makes our lives easier in business in many ways.

Google has some great tools for sure -however the whole “cloud computing” concept makes me uneasy – call me old fashioned but I like my stuff on my own server not Googles

Hi John,
Welcome and thank you for leaving a comment.
I can understand your uneasiness with the “cloud computing” concept. For some reason it does not bug me in any way but then I could be far too trusting for my own good.

One other indispensable tool for Google Calendar is WinCalendar… I use it to convert Google Calendar to MS Word & Excel format. From there I can add pictures & tweak the format to make a perfect newsletter calendar!
