By now you’ll know I think it’s a good idea that you use video as one of your network marketing tools. Today I’m going to give you one the best video marketing tips I know of -  never use a script.

If  the idea of this makes you feel uneasy, be rest assured that the alternative I ‘m going to teach you is not only going to save you a lot of time and heartache but it will also give you a simple, fool proof way to create videos about practically anything whenever you choose.

I’d love to hear whether you can see yourself using the alternative to a script that I have provided in the video. Leave me a comment as I’d love to hear your feedback.

I’d really also appreciate it if you could share this post using any of the buttons available. If you use “Only Wire” please share my post using this and I’ll do the same for you.

  1. Hey Marcus,

“If you need a script, the video’s probably too long.” Oh I know that’s right!

You make it sound so easy! I like that you broke down the parts. That’ll help.

    Thanks for the awesome tips!

Fantastic Susanna! I like creating little frameworks and systems that I can apply to a lot of different contexts and this is one of them.

  2. Hey Marcus, scripts are no good. you have made video marketing look EASY, and that’s great. Since people loose focus every 6-10 seconds, reminding them about the core message is essential and the call to action at the end. I like how you have put it out my friend.

  3. Hey Marcus,

I can’t use scripts. It will throw me off. I like to speak from the heart.

I use the same 4 points that you just discussed. They work and people will share the video to other people when you follow the 4 framework.

    Very powerful info, Marcus!

  4. I like your presentation style Marcus. Calm, cool, and collected ;)

Excellent points, especially the call to action. It’s one thing to present but another to call the audience to do something.

    Hiya Ryan,

Yes a call to action is really why we do anything as marketers and yet it’s the part we often neglect. Thanks for stopping by.

  8. Hey Marcus

    Done perfectly.

Scripts are not needed also if you know what you are talking about.

I have done a few videos and in all where I use a script I look like I have no clue of what I am going on about.

You tips are great and I will be implementing them from now on. Thank you sir

  9. Hey Marcus,

I had the worst habit of taping my script to the Tripod.

Once I did a couple of videos, it became natural and didn’t need a script.

I still put a couple of bullet notes and hang behind the wall, to make sure I don’t miss a point I was trying to make.

  10. Hey Marcus,

Nice video, is is true what you say “it is easy not to do”.

You have delivered some value here, I used to try the script technique back in the day and the videos use to look boring and, you guessed it… “scripted”…

I definitely vouch for your frame-worked approach.

    Thanks for this.

  11. 4 points – Framework. 1.Tell them what your going to tell them, in other words tell them what your going to tell them about.
    2. Tell them – thats your content – no more than 3 things
    3. Tell them what you told them
    4. Tell them what you want them to do.
    Action step.

    Great Formula Marcus!
