I believe bloggers must interact with other bloggers to network, learn and support each other and one of the best places to do this is Blokube.
What is Blokube?
Blokube was created by Devesh Sharma, a 17yr old blogging whizzz from India.
It’s a site dedicated to bloggers who take their craft seriously and who want to get the most from their efforts.
It’s where bloggers can meet, network, vote for each other’s blogs, build up quality comments and take part in interactive discussions.
Of course there are a few of these niche social networking sites around these days so….
What makes Blokube Different?
More than anything it’s the sense of community you will notice straight away. This is what distinguishes Blokube from some other larger social voting sites.
It has always been Devesh’s intention to make the site a better place for everyone. To this end he is continually developing it and asking the members for their input.
When last did Facebook ask YOU for your opinion before they changed their rules for the umpteenth time?
My point exactly!
Are all Bloggers Welcome at Blokube?
If you blog about anything of interest to bloggers or about any related subjects, including; Business, SEO, SEM, Social Media, WordPress, Web design/development and Personal Development then you’ll feel right at home at Blokube.
Hot off the Press From Blokube
More recently, Devesh released the following new features:
- Facebook-like Chat – Create your own chat rooms, including invitation only chat rooms. While chatting you can use the easy and quick file transfer facility to send files to each other as well as share, save and distribute your content through Facebook, Twitter, Email, Digg, Stumble Upon and many more. Oh and if you are a Smilie addict you will also have access to a quick look up facility while chatting to others.
- Activity Page – Similar to Facebook’s collective wall activity page where you can read the latest comments and responses from members and update your status on the page itself.
- Private Messaging - Once you have registered you’ll be able to add friends and message them on site.
- Easy Submit Features – If you’re in a hurry and don’t want to log in to the site to submit your post, you can do so via a bookmarklet on your browser toolbar or using any of the voting buttons. There is also an auto image submission feature which retrieves thumbnails from your post automatically, from which you can choose the one you want to use for your submission.
How do you Join Blokube?
Go to Blokube and sign up for a new account by clicking the register button. All that’s required is a user name and a valid email address to confirm your account.
If you’ve not yet joined Blokube then don’t delay. Register today and start connecting with all the friendly, helpful “Blokubers” who will make you feel very welcome too.
If you have any questions simply contact the lovely Devesh who is always more than ready to help everybody.
If you already use Blokube, please add your your personal experiences in the comments section for those who are still in two minds. Thank you.
Be Happy!

Hey Marcus,
Good you are lending your voice to the tens of people saying how a wonderful community blokube is. As you know I did a review on the site sometimes back and included it in my list of the top ways to promote content.
I like the additional features you have alerted us to here. It truly shows that there is constant r&d in blokube and what I find so endearing is that Devesh is always seeking advice and recommendation on how to improve the site. It is really a site that will continue to improve.
When you have seasoned bloggers like I have found there, you will always have a chance to rub minds with the best bloggers around.
Thanks for writing about this, Marcus!

Hi Tosin,
It is a top way to promote content and I particularly like all the new developments.
As you say Dev is a master at the implementing the consultative approach which means in the end we all own the site and that’s what makes it special.
Appreciate your comment Tosin!

Hi Marcus,
Very nice and detailed overview of Blokube! I’m already a member and I love it.
I just recently noticed the automatic image submission feature which I think is pretty cool. Never liked having to manually search for an image and upload it. So this nifty little feature saves me a lot of time.
Thanks for your awesome review!

Hi Ilka,
The auto image submission feature is also one of the new features I also most like Ilka. Funny how small things like that can make such a difference to our day.
Thanks for adding your perspective here Ilka.

I definitely agree – interacting with other bloggers should be part of the mix. I think it was just a few months back that I heard about Blokube, it’s a pretty remarkable site.
Really nice review you did on them — bloggers need to know this.

Hi Jerome,
I appreciate the feedback.
Devesh is quite the whizz. Gee what I was I doing at 17? Definitely nothing anywhere near what he has achieved but then it was a different time too.
Thanks Jerome.

Marcus, aloha. Great review of Blokube. In amplification of what you said, I like the other bloggers I meet there as well as the variety of topics that are so helpful to me as a newbie to the world of blogging.
Marcus, I am always on the look out for people & blogs that I don’t know. Blokube is a perfect site to go to be introduced and to read what the writers have to say.
Though I have not yet used it, Dev mentioned the facebook-like chat and it sounds terrific. Will check that out in the not too distant future.
Great job explaining this resource to your readers, Marcus. Until next time, aloha. Janet

Hello Marcus, well we haven’t ended up in the same forums lately and I took a few days to get my head together after completing the 70 blog post challenge. (phew)…
I am also writing a Blokube post for Dev this week… and although you introduced me to some of the newer features I can see that he is improving it all the time. It is awesome! and WOW you got it right… a Whiz he is. I wish I were that smart at 17. Waitaminit… I wish I were that smart now for crying out loud… who am I trying to kid?
Fantastic that you are spreading the word about Blokube, it certainly is one of the best sites around.
Best,

Hi Jayne,
So funny I was just thinking today that we must be operating in different campaigns right now.
Firstly a huge congratulations to you for completing the blog challenge. I once took part in an Ezine Articles challenge – “100 articles in 100 days” and it was both amazing and challenging, mostly because I was very green and knew precious little about article writing. Sure is a way to learn… and fast!
You often make me laugh Jayne and I had a good chuckle at your comment. Hmmmm yes know how you feel… I look around at all these very young, amazingly talented people on the web and I am truly amazed and in awe of them. Dev is a very good example!
I look forward to reading your review too Jayne and appreciate your feedback here.

Dev is a rising your star Marcus.
It seems like anything he creates takes off. I haven’t joined Blokube yet but if the focus is on community, I’m there, for developing a tight-knit community is what social networking is all about. The more exchanging of ideas, the better.
Thanks for sharing Marcus!

Marcus –
Nice work on covering Blokube. It is certainly all the things you say and anyone blogging in the niches covered can only benefit from joining the community.
It’s set up as a win-win scenario, and Devesh continues to do a great job of keeping it evolving with the needs of it’s community.
Love your point about Facebook asking it’s member’s about rules changes!
Thanks for putting the word out Marcus, it’s definitely the right time to be getting involved in Blokube!
