This post is to thank my network marketing internet business friends who took the time to answer my survey about my blog which I posted recently. The response was great and your comments very much appreciated.
I always like to know the outcomes of surveys so I thought it would be a good idea to give you a short report back from the information I have gathered so far. The survey is still open at this stage so feel free to complete it if you haven’t yet done so or to just read 7 Reasons To Survey Your Blog Readers.
How were the respondents defined?
89% were frequent readers of my blog and 11% occasional readers. There were no first time readers who responded. This just goes to show the importance of building a relationship with your followers.
What did people think about my five times a week posting frequency?
75% said this was just right, 12.5% said the frequency was too much and 12.5% said they wanted more. One will never please everybody but I think I am on the right track considering the majority percentage.
What are some of the reasons why people like visiting my blog?
“Blogging tips and latest plug ins”
“You absolutely 100% provide great information to your readers.”
“What I like most about reading your blog posts is that you put a lot of yourself and your own stories into your articles.”
“I can tell by reading your articles that you are a great person and are genuinely have a passion for helping others! Never change that because I think it is what makes you unique.”
“I like the diversity you bring to the plate. Mindset, How to posts, and Inspirational”
“Your clear cut tips.”
“Your information is very clear and concise, and you bring focus to the points that need it.”
“I like the fact that you come up with ideas from just living everyday life. You can find an idea just from going shopping at a grocery store. This is a great characteristic of a leader.”
“The easy to visualize examples you use.”
“I enjoy the content which you provide. It’s helpful, interesting and presented in an easy-to-read manner.”
What are some of your ideas to improve my blog?
“Customer Favicon (makes your site look really professional)”
“Make Opt In Box a different color (white blends in too much).”
“I would use a photo editor for your banner image and brighten it up just a bit.”
“Get rid of the tag cloud” (This has already disappeared thanks to the upgrade to 3.0 and an incompatible plug in.)
“Make any click-able links open in a new window… “(Thought I always did this but thanks for the reminder
)
What type of posts would you like to have more of?
Marketing strategies – 75%, Personal Development – 65% and another 25% specifying other subjects including WordPress plug ins, SEO, Copywriting, blogging tips and article marketing.
The overall picture I got is that generally people like what I am doing and want me to continue so that’s what I’ll do but of course I will be making a few changes taking some of your ideas into account too.
Thank you again for your feedback. I look forward to providing you with even more value in the weeks and months to come. Your support is much appreciated.
Please feel free to leave me a comment and share this with your followers on your social networks if you enjoyed the post.
My goal? Helping you achieve yours.

Hi Marcus,
A great example of how you can interact with your readers, even the ones too shy to leave a comment.
Just ask, What a concept. The simple ideas are the best, and easiest to use.

I did this same thing earlier in the month, not from a post but to my subscribers.
I too got some great feedback and I also got some, “I’d like to see stuff” too, which is good.
I learned some great things from what others thought.
Have a great day Marcus,
