I’m often asked about the exact strategy I recommend for success in the network marketing industry so here it  is. I’m  sure what you are going to read here will not be the first time you have been given this exact advice. I sometimes think  people ask for this again and again hoping that somehow the strategy will change and the all the challenging bits will be left out. It’s just not going to happen so how much longer are you going to take to apply this?

Step 1: Create a vision

What is your number one reason for why you want to be in business as opposed to doing anything else? What will it give you that nothing else can? What’s your dream? This is fundamental to your success. When times are tough you will need this as a point of focus so that you can remind yourself why you are doing what you are, why you need to keep going and why the tough times will be worth it in the end. It’s no different to the trophy an athlete wants to win. Create your vision by describing what you want your life to look like. You can do this by writing it down, drawing, creating a collage of pictures or making a voice recording and then keep it nearby so you can refer to it when you need to.

Step 2: Become the person you must to achieve your goals

This is probably the most challenging step to master because most people either don’t understand how important it is and/or they just prefer to ignore it. The truth of the matter is you need to become a powerful leader and be able to manage your emotions when that little voice of self doubt raises its head as it will. You do this by becoming a student of personal development and working on yourself to become the strong person you must be. There are many ways to go about this – completing self development courses, reading books, attending seminars etc.

Step 3: Understand what your business is about and how to market it

Plain and simply your business must be about you because this is the only point of difference you have compared with everybody else who has also joined your company. To be successful you must learn how to create your own brand and then promote yourself by creating relationships with others to help them achieve their goals. When a trust has been developed then your company opportunity or product may come into play. When you understand this process you will see why you have to work on yourself first. This will require your commitment to learn about attraction marketing.

Step 4: Develop the assets in your business

Your success in the network marketing industry depends on the success of others which means the people in your team are your assets. First you develop yourself and then you help others to develop themselves. As you teach them to successfully duplicate what you are doing, you stand to earn ongoing commissions via everyone in your extended team till the end of time. Find the best, most efficient and effective way to develop your team.
