Reading this page first will help you get the most from my blog which has undergone a few transformations in its time. This accurately reflects the ongoing changes and expansion in my own life and which characterises life in its totality.
Why I blog…
I have always believed that what I blog about must help you as a visitor in some way, otherwise this would be nothing more than a ‘one man ego party’.
With this in mind I have always aimed to pass on practical solutions, stimulate thought, invite expression, encourage discussion and hopefully contribute to your personal growth in some way. My purpose is as a teacher of upliftment. Everything I do revolves around this.
As you read my current and past posts I hope that you will experience one or more of the above whenever you visit.

What exactly do I blog about?
Vibe up With Marcus Baker is all about helping you to raise your vibration.
What is your vibration?
Quite simply it’s how you’re feeling as a result of what you are thinking, consciously or not. You create your reality through your thoughts and your feelings are an indication of these, most of which you’re unaware of.
It does not matter who you are, where you live, what you do or what you want, nothing is more important than feeling good whenever you can because when you do, you will flourish as intended.
When you feel good, you’re in control of your vibration and consequently you allow yourself to become who you are, a powerful co-creator of your reality.
When you feel good, your thoughts are in alignment with your true nature and well-being and you will attract to yourself whatever you desire.
You are a magnificent and powerful co-creator and if you’re not yet getting what you want in your life easily and effortlessly, then you have more work to do.
Don’t feel bad about this. We are all ongoing students of life, learning what we must to realise who we are.
If you do nothing else but master this one skill, your life will change for the better in ways that you cannot even begin to imagine.
It’s easy to do and easy not to do, because for most of us, it’s not our natural way.
If you are not already doing this, then the lesson will be challenging, since this is what you have come here to master.
I want you to know that YOU CAN DO IT….. when you decide that nothing is more important than feeling good and when you’re ready to commit to consciously training yourself over time to do it.
My posts are designed to remind you to feel good and feel better when you don’t. They are also designed to give you ways of doing this.
Knowing about this and practising it are two very different activities with different outcomes. Only the latter will lead to your expansion.
I do this via my writing and what I share but you are the one who has to do your own work. You are totally responsible. Not I or anybody else can do this for you.
How to Know how you are Feeling…
How are you feeling right now? Do you really know? If not, become still, close your eyes and for a few moments allow yourself to find out.
Tip: You can’t do this by thinking about how you feel. You have to allow yourself to feel FEEL the physiological sensations in your solar plexus. (Mid chest area) You do not have to give the feeling a name, you simply have to know whether whatever you feel, feels good or not.
If what you sense feels good, “milk it” and bask in the joy you feel…. simply for the joy of feeling good.
Don’t be alarmed if you can’t feel anything. This simply means that you are not yet able to connect with how you feel because for too long you have de-emphasized your emotional guidance system. With time and practice you will regain your natural way.
Do this at least once a day and more often if you can. I do this check continually and at least ever hour. Whenever you become aware that you don’t feel good, find a way to change whatever you’re doing or thinking so that you feel better.
You are a powerful being who can focus your thoughts. If you are not yet doing this, it is only because you have not yet remembered who you are nor practised this enough.
