There’s a right way and a wrong way to monetize your  network marketing blog.

The purpose of your blog is to “promote you” not vomit your products and services at every poor unsuspecting visitor.

Why should strangers visiting your blog  be dying to take out their credit cards? They won’t be.

It might happen from time to time but it’s highly unlikely. There’s no good reason why they should because…

People buy from those they know, like and trust!

Having a blog positions you perfectly to make this happen through what is known as  attraction marketing. When you have built a relationship with someone then there is a very good chance that they will buy from you down the line. Just as it takes time for a good friendship to develop between people, so the same is true when it comes to business relationships

Nobody likes to be sold to!

Make sure your network marketing blog is not a sales page disguised as a blog.  If you must inform people about the mlm products and services you use, then instead of having endless banner ads screaming at people, put these on a separate resources page and provide value on the page about why you recommend these tools.

If your blog “vomits BUY ME!”… there’s a good chance people will not stay to see what you have to offer or they won’t come back again and you will have lost a potential customer for life.

Monetize your blog subtly

Do this by writing balanced and useful mlm product reviews and reviews about mlm companies which link to the products you recommend.

When you write a post and refer to a product  or service you use, link the word to that product or service so if someone wants to find out more they can click on the word and be taken to the site in a new window.

Use your blog as an entry point to your marketing funnel

Ideally use your blog to capture people’s details so that they can be added to your list building activities from where you can develop an ongoing relationship with them through email marketing.

The most efficient way to do this is to have an organized marketing funnel into which people can be added.

This starts with providing them with a free gift of value in return for their contact details. Then as you provide further value, so you drip feed them information about products and services you are using which they will need to use anyway. As they learn to trust you so they will buy these via your recommendations over time.

Creating a marketing funnel on your own is possible but why re-invent wheel?

If you have your own network marketing blog then you’ll hopefully also know that it’s  very important to post regularly, every day if you can. But how easy is it to come up with quality, relevant content all the time?

Speaking from personal experience, the more you blog , the more you’ll start to see everything through a blogger’s eyes. Ideas are likely to come fast and furious at times so I recommend you always have a way of recording these since they also often come to mind when you least expect it.

However even those of us who have been doing this for a little while run into dry patches when there doesn’t seem to be anything to write about. This can be quite stressful especially when you know that your loyal followers are waiting for what you have to say next.

At times like this would it be useful to have some other ideas for posts? Maybe even have some pre-prepared  posts in the bottom draw you could take out and use?

One of the best mlm blogging tips I can pass on is that you should be prepared  for times like this.   Here are eight ideas for posts so you never have to run out of  material for your network marketing blog again:

#1: Create a list of “must-have” free resources for your readers.

#2: Ask a question of your followers using one of the many social media platforms and then blog about the best answers you get.

#3: Sign up for Google Alerts on topics related to network marketing and then blog about breaking news stories.

#4: Use a plugin to find out which of your blog posts is most popular, then blog about it.

#5: Get involved in a discussion on another blog or forum and then write up a summary about it on your own blog.

#6: Post monthly wrap-ups about what you have accomplished with your business.

#7: Present a case study of how someone has successfully used one of your mlm products or service to solve their problem.

#8: Run a poll on a controversial issue and then discuss the results.

“What’s Working Now?” – You’ve got to admit it’s a brilliant name for a new mlm product to be launched in next few days.

So what’s it all about? In a nutshell, the word is that this product  will end our ongoing battle with the killer information overload to which we are all subjected in the network marketing online world.

The idea is that you and I, the busy MLM entrepreneur, will be provided with a monthly short update of up to two hours in length, covering what’s  currently working  in our industry.

Brilliant! I can feel the stress draining from my body as I type….

It’s not that I don’t want to learn more and find out about what’s new and worth trying  in our fast changing industry, but how the heck does one find the time to do it all? So where did the idea for “What’s Working Now”  come from? You’ll be pleased to hear that even mega mlm stars like Mike Dillard are subject to information overload. The fact is if you want to market on line then you had better accept that learning will be a part of your life forever  more because things change very fast on the Internet.

He first conceived of the product to help himself with this problem and then wondered whether others might find it useful too. He was not quite prepared for the response he got.

After releasing a 4 minute video about the product and asking people to respond he had over 1000 comments within 24 hours, all mirroring the following sentiment:

Did You Know Your Travel Ventures with TVIexpress May Not All Be What You’re Expecting?

I have never observed quite as much interest in or speculation about a company as there has been about the travel venture operation called TVI Express.  So surely the question everybody wants the answer to is whether it’s a profitable home business or not?

As with all businesses, those who have been successful will be nodding furiously and the many more who haven’t will all be yelling “tvi scam” at the tops of their voices. Rather than regurgitate the same information about the company which you can read in the plethora of articles already published, I want to rather share with you my own experience of having been involved with TVI and what I with learned from this.

Believe it or not what attracted me first was not the sales talk of being able to earn $15 000 in 30 days but rather the travel ventures side of it, the fact that discount travel was on offer. As someone who is extremely passionate about travel, the prospect of having access to discounted products in this area was most enticing. Being more than a little interested in a business niche will certainly help one to remain motivated in the long run but this in itself  is not enough to guarantee your success.

All it takes is two, or so they say…

I have to admit that the thought of possibly being successful with only needing to enroll  two people was a big draw card and even though this is what I did, five months later and I have yet to move off the first board and make my money back. Does this mean I was mislead? Not entirely but there is a little more to it. It is possible but it depends if the two people you enroll  as well as the majority of those on the same board as you are able to all do the same. Also you and everybody else may have to enroll a whole lot more than two people to find the right two and as for being able to control the rest of the board, this is pretty much impossible unless you enroll as a group and work together very closely right from the word go.

Too many get rich quick candidates…

I think one of the reasons why there are so many stalled travel boards in TVI Express is because to be successful a huge number of people are required to be involved. To make this happen the opportunity is aggressively marketed to absolutely anybody as an “easier money solution” compared with many other home businesses. This means there are far too many people who get involved who have no real interest in having or working at being successful in this type of business. In the end I could not spend any more time working on a project where it was obvious that a large number of people on the board had no idea what it was going to take to be successful nor did they have any inclination to do the work to get there. No matter what you are marketing you have to learn how to market and this requires education, perseverance and time, not what most people are told when they sign up at TVI.

So it’s not one of the best home business ideas?

Not for me because there is far too much that I as a business owner cannot control and at the end of the day I need to be sure that my effort will be rewarded financially. It is however a great business idea and for those who have made it work, it’s a top home based business. I still regard it as an awesome travel discount product and this I will support for as long as it is the case.

Having a profitable home business is dependent on whether you are willing to commit to learning how to market your business like a professional. This is what will give you  major advantages over most other distributors in TVI Express and all other companies.
